I can't say I've ever cut the wire from a headset, but I don't use a headset while crafting. Otherwise, I'm pretty sure I would've. I understand the weird thumb/hand pain though. Suddenly the music stops and I realize I've cut through the wire for the headset. Again. So it's not even limited to bodily injuries.
