Friday Inspiration - More Art on your Walls

I'm really liking this idea of putting together a mishmash or art work, photos and odd little trinkets into a cohesive collection.

It could just be one unexpected item, like the boxing gloves on this one.

Here we have a few small object, all in the same color scheme.

I like the black and white photos and scetches, combined with the warm wooden pieces.

Even though this is not exactly my personal style, I love the pastel colors and the antique mirror.

Again, a few mirrors and warm wooden objects matching some of the frames. Quite attention to detail having those beautiful wooden boxes beneath adding to the collection.

This is quite impressive. I would love to take time to look through all those frames to see what's in them!

What do you think? Do you prefer the more eclectic and random collections or the more curated, uniform wall displays?

  1. Hi...just found you through Please Deliver To...which I found through about three other sites stemming from Red Letter Day. I LOVE these photos, these walls. I would love to have that kind of inspiration all the time. My husband would go nuts, and not in a good way. But I think I'll bookmark this post just to swoon once in awhile. Love it!

    1. Right.. I remember you telling me that. Is it just that you can't use nail or hooks? Could some type of a sticker work?

  3. I tried the strongest of the 3M stickers. Came home to a broken frame on the floor next to a sticker with some wall on it. :-(
