Updating the shop

This week has been pretty busy. I got one of those "how didn't I think this before?" moments concerning my materials shop and I've been re-vamping it all week. Even though I felt I had some good items for sale, the shop looked pretty messy to me. Some of the photos were fine but most of them didn't really show how awesome the items are. So, once I got the idea of what I need to do, I re-shot a whole lot of the items.

I packed them in cute little packages with funky paper as background. I was cutting paper to size, stamping the sheets with the description and shop address and making paper tape out of vintage style drawer liners. It was a lot of work, but I think it was totally worth it.

Packing was the big thing I realized I need to think about after attending the craft fair. Some of the items worked well, but others needed a little something extra. Even though this shop revamp was for Brinner Supplies, I think I can use the same ideas, slightly modified, for my handmade store as well.

Onwards and upwards, I say. Plenty more things for me to learn and figure out, but at least this is a step in the right direction.
